When Grahame Fitzgerald was served with a redundancy notice from the mining company he had worked with for nine years, he and his wife Fiona set about looking for a new challenge and a new opportunity.

‘What’s more, we soon realized that the Gutter-Vac service was something we needed ourselves in Central West NSW and above all, there was nothing like it in our area!’

‘It was that uniqueness that appealed to us,’ Fiona adds, ‘together with the fact Grahame can work outdoors while having the flexibility and time to attend the occasional event at our daughter’s school.’

‘Rainwater tank cleaning is very much on the agenda as well. In fact we have had several enquiries already, but for now we just want to concentrate on our core service, until we find our feet.’
