Charlie Polman had been operating his own panel beating business for several years, when a client happened to mention one day that her brother was planning to relocate overseas and sell his Gutter-Vac franchise on Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula.
‘My ears really pricked up when I heard that’ Charlie says, adding ‘I saw it as a great opportunity to get out and about, working outdoors, doing a different job every day, rather than being stuck in the same place all the time.’
Charlie has already started operating his new business, having just returned from a seven day training course in Brisbane. ‘The training was fantastic’ he adds. ‘Everyone involved and everything we did was absolutely spot on. I really enjoyed it and I certainly learned a tremendous amount.’
