We were asked to attend a property for a real estate. The work order had the following instructions;
” Please attend this property and clean gutters and there is evidence to suggest that they are very full. The area where water flows from the roof to the tank also requires cleaning. “
There was grass growing in the strainer over the hole in the water tank. The plant growing up the side of the tank had intertwined with the grass making it one big mass constricting the flow of water from the gutters to the water tank.
Looking at that root system, I don’t think that any water was actually entering the tank.
The end result is that the property now has clean gutters and the water can now flow into the water tank.
