Gutter-Vac Dandenong offers professional and courteous vacuum cleaning of commercial and domestic gutters, roofs, solar PV panels, ceiling cavities and downpipes.
Gutter-Vac is committed to customer satisfaction, in fact, we guarantee it!
To clean your gutters, we use a specialised wet/dry vacuum system that not only gets rid of that leafy debris, it will also remove the mud, dirt and sludge that sits in the bottom of your gutters. It is this sludge that causes the problems in your gutters, not only causing overflowing gutters or blocked gutters, but can also rust your gutters. It is also in this matter that holds all the nutrients that the vermin love to feast on.
We will clean the gutters AND take away all the debris, leaving your gutters to be able to do the job that they were intended for!
Without regular cleaning of your gutters, your gutters will have this debris build up that can and will cause irreparable damage to your gutters – even the top of the line gutter systems. Also, when your gutters are full of debris, they will not do the job that they are intended for, which is to take the rain water AWAY from your home. Instead of the gutters taking water away, if they are full of debris, they will in fact deliver this rain water directly into your home causing water damage to your home over time.
At Gutter-Vac Dandenong we know that gutter maintenance is essential to prevent damage to your home. We can even provide you with a roof inspection report on the state of your gutters and roof plus also discuss and schedule with you a preventative maintenance plan for future gutter cleaning.
Stay Safe. Don’t DIY!
It might seem like a good idea to grab a ladder and clean your gutters yourself. It’s not!
Most accidents around the home occur on a ladder and even at just a small distance off the ground can cause significant injuries if you were to fall. Saving a few dollars on professional gutter cleaning isn’t worth the risk of injury.

Gutter cleaning is essential for pest control. Rotting gutter debris provides a perfect breeding and feeding environment for mice, snakes, spiders, cockroaches, beetles and mosquitoes. They will ‘live’ in your roof cavity and venture into the gutters to get their food. By simply spraying in and around your property will not solve the problem because it is only a matter of time before the vermin will return because the food source is still present. Eliminate the food source and continue to maintain clean gutters preventing more build up in the future will ensure that you prevent future pest problems.
Because we are fully insured, trained to work at heights plus we also provide an exceptional service and ensure gutters are cleaned, Real Estate Agents and Body Corporate Managers love to work with Gutter-Vac. We understand that they are busy people with a lot of properties to care for and getting gutters cleaned on a property may not be the biggest thing on their to do list that day, but it is something that needs to be organised and completed. Because we take before and after photos on every job, they have the confidence that they can send us to a property and know that it has been completed to their satisfaction – all without having to leave their desk.
“Con explained the additional things that he did, i.e. cleaning under gutters was great, and getting before and after photos. Probably the first time my actual roof had been cleaned thoroughly- very pleased with the job.”Christine Erskine
With regulations around safety changing all the time, many commercial and industrial premises no long allow their maintenance staff to go on the roof of their buildings so they give us a call to maintain their gutters for them. With our safety training and working at heights training, they know that we can get the job done in a safe manner and also effectively.
We work on all sorts of buildings at all different heights. Some buildings we need to use an EWP (Elevated Work Platform) to gain access, but basically, we very rarely come across a building that we can not service. We specialise in all types of buildings and complexes and we know how to get the job done safely and effectively for you.
Many people ask why we need to clean gutters on Industrial or Commercial properties that don’t have trees nearby. Just because there are no leaves in the gutters, doesn’t mean they are clean and blockage free. Dirt, dust, industrial matter and all sorts of pollutions can build up in the gutters – no leaves required. The biggest challenge for many commercial or industrial sites is that if the gutters are indeed blocked and they then have water damage as a result, depending on the contents of the property will depend on the dollar cost of that damage. We have had clients that BEFORE using our services have experienced hundreds of thousands of dollars of damage – all because their gutters were blocked.
We are happy to provide a no-obligation quote and to discuss with you how we can provide our gutter cleaning services to your commercial or industrial property. More than one building on a site – no problem – we can even quote per building if that would work better for you.

Cleaning your solar panels can increase their efficiency. Solar panels over time will build up a film like layer of dust and dirt that reduces how effective your solar panels are.
As we are fully safety trained and insured, we can not only be on your roof working safely, we also have specialised methods of cleaning your solar panels – without damaging them.
We have created a special vacuum head to attach to our machine that will clean your solar panels of dirt and dust build up.
We can do this at the same time as cleaning your gutters, so give us a call today to find out more.
Did you know that even if you have a gutter guard in place, you still need to have your gutters cleaned?
Gutter Guards are great for keeping leaves or large sticks out of your gutters, but no matter what sort of gutter guard you use, debris will still make its way into your gutters. Under that gutter guard, you will find a build up of mud, dirt and sludge.
A couple of things can happen with this build up. The first is that your gutters can be blocked with this sludge under the gutter guard leading to water damage to your property. Secondly, this sludge can still be causing damage to your gutters and causing your gutters to rust. Lastly and most commonly, seeds from trees will land in your gutters (either by the weather or carried by a bird or vermin) and make their way into your gutter, under the gutter guard. These seeds then have the perfect environment in the sludge to begin to grow. Before you know, you can have a plant growing through your gutter guard from your gutters.
To prevent this, even with gutter guard in place, you need to have your gutters regularly cleaned.
At Gutter-Vac we recommend Gutter-Flow because it is easily removable when it is time to clean your gutters saving a lot of time and a lot of money. With fixed gutter guards that are screwed in, to clean your gutters requires us unscrewing all the gutter guards, performing the cleaning of your gutters and then re-fixing the gutter guards. It takes longer to unscrew and then refit the gutter guards than to do the actual clean.
If you are interested in finding out which type of gutter guard is best for you, then please give me a call on 1300 654 253.
