Queenslander Terry Comiskey spent six years searching for the right franchise business before he stumbled across the Gutter-Vac web site recently.

After fifteen years working as a diesel fitter in a coal mine, it was time for a change, but only when the right opportunity presented itself.

‘Gutter-Vac ticks all the boxes for me’ Terry says. ‘I can work for myself, I can operate outdoors and build a business in my local area. Even so, I reckon it’s dealing with customers that I am looking forward to the most.’

Having toiled underground for so long, Terry’s first day on the job saw him working on a roof at an aged care facility in Yeppoon.

‘I feel like I have over compensated at times’ he adds.
