Gutter-Vac made their debut appearance this year at the Cairns Home Show. What a great weekend we had. Thank you to everyone that came by our site to chat to us about our specialised gutter vacuum cleaning equipment and service. Our Gutter Flow (gutter guard) System was a big hit and everyone was very impressed by the fact that not only does it keep the water flowing and is very easy to service, but it does not require any screws to damage your roofing iron.
Many commented on Tims roof and gutter display (fully equipped with Gutter Flow), that now adorns my office until the ECOfiesta.
By the way…I was asked many times over the weekend whether we were locals! Of course we are local! Why would you live anywhere else? Tim and I are long time locals of Cairns and we understand what is necessary to keep our buildings, belongings and investments safe, during both the wet season and dry. We love Cairns, and we like to support local business as well. Well done Cairns!
Anyway see us at the ECOfiesta on the 31st of May at the Cairns Cruise Ship Terminal for a free gutter vacuum cleaning quote or ask us about our Gutter Flow. Gutter-Vac are always happy to deliver good news!
Gutter-Vac Cairns can now clean your ceiling cavity and we thought now was a good time to talk to you about that old insulation that you have sitting in your ceiling cavity. Coming into the winter months, it is a good time to look at getting rid of the old and bringing in the new to keep your house at an optimal temperature and increase the efficiency of your heating and cooling systems for the coming years.
Removing old insulation is a messy job – just like cleaning gutters – but because of our specialised vacuum system, we can get into your ceiling cavity and remove the old insulation with a lot less fuss and of course a lot less mess than doing the job by hand.
If you have never considered your insulation or the state that it is in, then now would be a good time to consider it so that your home is warm in winter and cool in summer.

Keeping debris out of your gutters is always a concern for home owners and commercial buildings in the Cairns and Far North Queensland region. You don’t want your gutters full or worse still blocked when cyclone season hits because if they are, the damage to your property from water overflowing from your gutters or not being drained away because of blocked gutters can be considerable – in both time and inconvenience.
Gutter-Vac Cairns is proud to announce that we can now provide and install Gutter-Flow Gutter Guard.
Gutter-Flow Gutter Guard is a great product that is quick and easy to install, it allows the gutters to do their job, but keeps the majority of debris out of the gutters. It is fire retardant, which is a must for anyone in Australia as bushfire is always a threat.
If you’d like more information on why Gutter-Flow Gutter Guard could be the best option for your property or if you’d like us to quote on providing and installing for you, then please give Tim and Madonna a call at Gutter-Vac Cairns today on 1300 654 253.
Long time Cairns residents Tim and Madonna Grinter had been looking for a suitable business opportunity for some time when they first stumbled across the Gutter-Vac web site.
A Tug and Barge Master for almost five years, Tim soon realised that the Gutter-Vac opportunity met with all of the criteria that he and Madonna had originally set.
‘We wanted a serviced based business’ Tim says, ‘ideally working outdoors, where I could meet and deal with people.’
‘It gets pretty wet up here at times’ Tim adds ‘and it’s important that customers have their gutters cleaned regularly. I reckon Gutter-Vac is a fantastic opportunity and we are both very excited about the future.’
